Worst experience in Italy+sexism

Booked this hotel for 4 nights. Run away after the first night. Should have done it immediately but we had a long trip and were very tired. - Rooms and all hotel area have cigarette smell. Apparently, staff members smoking inside. - We said about it to a manager (older guy) and that we want to move out. He became very rud and start to negotiate and make us pay more than for a 1 night. - He was not only rud, but he was also completely ignoring what I'm saying, didn't look at me and talked only to my husband. As I'm not a person at all! - And one moment he just went back to his office and ignored both of us. And Breakfast was poor. Serving man has dirty long nails. I couldn't it there. Holiday to Naples

Sep 20th, 2018

On a nice quiet street, But close to main attractions. Room 104 had 2 balconies one from bedroom and one from bathroom offering great views of city and sea, and on clear day you can see Capri. Friendly breakfast host called Salvatore took us on tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius at a reasonable price. Room had mini fridge and air con that we was thankful for as weather was hot and humid. The only negative thing us the reception is not manned we had to check out by 9.30am as we had flight booked and had joined one to hand keys too so had to leave them at desk otherwise we don't know how long we would of had to wait around. We would return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I am writing a review on behalf of my very upset girlfriends experience. I was not their for the stay as she was with a friend at the time, but in communication everyday. Staff do not speak English, although advertises that they speak multilingual. They were also very creepy and unhelpful. The safe in the rooms with her and her friends money was clearly not very secure....on her arrival home she has checked her bank details to unexpected payments on her a card. When she didn't use her card at all when being away. This therefore leads to a conclusion of them pinching money from both girls. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Inexpensive & Beautiful location!

Nov 7th, 2017

Absolutely LOVED the friendly staff and everything was clean and the location was absolutely beautiful! I was in a room with a beautiful view of Napoli with it's colourful buildings. The room was very good sized, the bathroom was interesting as it had an all-in-one shower which was very easy to use and the breakfast was great with a good assortment of types of food. It had an empty mini fridge which was perfect for leaving my food since there were shops & restaurants just up the street. I left my windows open day & night and the sea breeze was wonderful! Nice Hillside Hotel With A View

May 16th, 2017

We spent two nights here in this hotel. The hotel is quite easy to get to. We arrived in Naples/Napoli from Rome via the train. From the Central Station we took the Metro Linea 1 to Vanvitelli where we took the Chiaia Funicular to Corso Vittorio Emanuele Station and just walked like 3 minutes downhill. The Hotel is situated on a hillside. It is like a three level building but has like two sub level. A nice terrace which is accessible through the lower level only. The view from our room is very nice looking out into the bay. This is not a tourist hotel; we got the impression we were the only English speaking guests. When we encountered the traditional Naples welcome of having a pocket picked, we returned to the hotel and asked about filing a police report. The young man behind the desk offered no sympathy, and simply said we could find the police station on our own after dark. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
