Missing clothing

Jun 17th, 2019

I almost feel bad for writing this review because everything was absolutely perfect here until I realized a piece of my clothing was taken from me. Before leaving for the day I called down and requested for my room to be cleaned while I was out. I put a pair of shorts on top of my unzipped luggage and when I returned I found the shorts on the floor. It looked like someone had opened my luggage in order for the shorts to have fallen off. I quickly rummaged through my clothes and didn’t see anything missing.. or so I thought. I’m very particular about what styles of undergarments I wear with what types of clothing. On the last day of my trip I was looking for a specific undergarment I packed for an outfit (it was also a brand new piece of undergarment) and couldn’t find it anywhere. I did not want to judge right away so I told myself I would wait til I got back home and double check if maybe I just forgot to pack it. Well I’m home now and it’s not here and I’m positive I had packed it. It seems the cleaning staff was just clever enough to take something so small that I wouldn’t have realized. Everything about this hotel was great but the fact that my belonging was taken from me - no matter how big or small - really takes away all the positives about this place. I can care less about my clothing being returned, it’s the fact that there was no respect for my personal belongings. If you stay here make sure your luggage is locked. Also, read the other one star reviews of customers that got items stolen from them as well.. it seems that it happens often here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic getaway vacation

Jun 17th, 2019

Just got home from a short stay at Villa Premiere. It was a beautiful location with impeccable standards. The hotel employees were all so helpful and friendly. The entire resort was exceptionally clean. We felt very safe on property and were close enough to the boardwalk ($5 cab ride). Will definitely be back. Only complaint was our stay was too short! Good All-Inclusive Puerto Vallarta Boutique Resort Hotel

Jun 14th, 2019

My fiance and I stayed at Villa Premiere May 30th-June 4th. It was cloudy the entire time we were there so we hope to go back when it's sunny! The hotel was very cute with modern decor and easy access to the pool and beach. Room: We booked the Honeymoon Suite which was a good size with a hammock and jacuzzi in the balcony. The bathroom was a little on the small side with the toilet and shower kind of close to each other not leaving much space to stand. The bathroom sink is out in the open so no privacy when brushing teeth/washing face/etc. The bed was huge with plenty of pillows and comfortable. There was a couch and table/chairs for eating meals, along with a TV with access to the Internet for streaming Netflix/Amazon Prime shows/movies. There is a safe and closet space along with a mini-bar which includes water, sodas, and Coronas included in the all-inclusive package. Food: There are three restaurants on site: La Corona, Murales, and La Ceiba. Only 1 or 2 are open each night but they allow you to sit anywhere and order from any menu. They also have a vegetarian menu. We thought all the food was pretty decent and so were the drinks. The waitstaff there are pretty good and friendly too. Almost nightly they have some sort of musical entertainment i.e. flamenco singers, jazz, etc. They also have a 24-hour room service menu to order from. Pool/Beach: The pool has pool chairs and a couple of pool cabanas to chill at. There is a bar to order drinks. There are four beach cabanas on the beach and many chairs to choose from also. These are all first-come, first-serve. There will be some instances where cabanas seem taken by towels but people don't show up for a while or at all. The beach is rocky FYI and the ocean waves are choppy so don't plan on lying on the beach or going inside the ocean if that's what you're expecting. Spa: We got a couple of massages while there which were pretty good. They were also reasonably priced. You also get a massage when you check-in which I think is a great touch. They also run our bath/jacuzzi for us when we called them which was awesome. Location: The resort is within historic downtown PV and about a 15-minute walk to the Malecon boardwalk area. There's shops and restaurants along the way there. A few things that kept me from giving five stars was that we never received a confirmation when we booked online which was rather odd so we had to call and confirm. The turn-down service was inconsistent. The cabanas were not ready until 11-12pm some days which was kind of a let-down the one morning I got up at 8am to grab one. Also, the LOVE sign at the end of the pier was only there for the first night of our stay but not the rest so we couldn't take pictures with it. The bartenders at the swim-up bar were somewhat irresponsible. There was a situation where we were sitting by the bar in the chairs working on our laptop and there were a bunch of bees swarming around empty plates of food. The workers were joking and talking but never moved the tray of empty plates until we told them to. Also it took a while to get our food whether it was room service or at dinner service. It would be nice if it were a little quicker. Additionally, the elevators are extremely small, hardly fitting four people. They should probably be made larger to accommodate more people. I believe we might be back because overall we did enjoy it. Just a few things to work on going forward to make it a true five-star experience. Thanks, Rose TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Outstanding views, great restaurants/bars, lovely beach and pool

Jun 14th, 2019

From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the most courteous staff. This continues throughout the establishment. This is a staff that loves their jobs and wants to make your visit wonderful. The rooms all face the water and are furnished beautifully. Water pressure is great even on the top floor. As can happen a minor AC problem was addressed by concierge Liz quickly and professionally. We look forward to a return visit TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
