Horrific!! I checked in to the place, see booking confirmation below. I signed the paperwork and was given a key. I was in the room for about 2 hours when the manager unlocked my door and tried to get in the room. I told them that I was in the room. An hour later the manager unlocks the door and comes in the room again. I said "you know someone is already in the room why would you unlock the door and try to let yourself in". He could have knocked and asked to check my booking information instead of just allowing himself in the room. I had to put on clothes because I was getting ready to take a shower! He said I didn't have a booking for this room, which is absolutely untrue, how else would I get a key. I told them regardless of the info you can not just let yourself into a room repeatedly without knocking first and allowing me to answer the door. I told him I was going to leave and he said "that's fine". Completely unprofessional. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautiful house, great stay
Jun 6th, 2018
I really enjoyed staying here. The house is lovely, the room was big, and the grounds are small but beautiful, with lots of flowers. It is a great neighborhood to stay in -- an easy walk to Safeway and not too far from restaurants and the capitol. The staff members were all friendly, and the breakfast was small but nice, in a lovely room. (I ate a lot of strawberry-chocolate chip muffins!) The only criticisms I have are that the carpet could be cleaner (especially under the beds, which are easy to see under), and we received only three sets of towels/washcloths for four people. Other things that you should be aware of: there is no elevator, and the bathroom door in our room did not have a lock. I would definitely stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wedding venue surprise in downtown Sacramento
Apr 13th, 2018
Da Scene: Attending a wedding at this beautiful venue was an intimate experience. Well kept gardens & grounds surround grand Victorian structures. Courtyard for service & vows were lined with classic white chairs and had a lush covered archway. In the receiving room there was an open bar & hors d'oeuvres in between vows & dinner program in the main grand room. Photo ops abound for the selfie/Instagram crowd. Da Grub & Libations: Opening service was good, bartenders were quick, but needed more servers for the hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was excellent, if demure in size. Da Service: All staff interactions were courteous, did not have to request any special services, but felt would be taken care of if needed. Great venue! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
This is NOT a bed and breakfast!
Nov 6th, 2017
If you are counting on the family atmosphere of a bed and breakfast and fresh, homemade delicacies at breakfast, this is not the place for you! Although the grounds are gorgeous and I am sure would make for a beautiful venue for a wedding, the b&b guests are not so fortunate. The rooms were okay, but there was no familial feeling to the place. There was no gathering place for guests. The front door would be unlocked for you and you were expected to go straight up to your room (which did not have many amenities). Breakfast was a joke. Cold cereal, packaged oatmeal and FINALLY, a fresh scone (delicious!) There was no-one there to serve you and the food choices were extremely skimpy. The scone was the most enjoyable part of our stay, but in short supply and a poor excuse for a Bed & Breakfast! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful midtown getaway.

Eli was very informative of the area and very pleasant. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. Perfect location for enjoying local restaurants and cocktail lounges. I also enjoyed a terrific yoga class at It's All Yoga. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
