Great Location; Beautiful Property; Some Missed Opportunities

Some HITS and some MISSES. Avoid poolside dining, rude staff. Exceptional in-room dining and housekeeping team. Very good food; beautiful views from our sixth floor room. Great location to area parks and attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointing and more geared to the conference delegate. Restaurant/bar prices very high.

This hotel is aiming at the luxury market but falls short in many areas. The hotel is attached to a large conference centre which means that the atmosphere is more corporate around the public areas and does not blend well with guests on holiday. Prices in the restaurant and bars are prohibitively high for guests staying longer that one or two nights. Fine for corporates I am sure. Coaches to the Disney parks are good but the service to Disney Springs runs only every two hours which is inconvenient. Balcony area for the guest room is very poor. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Didn't meet my expectations

Apr 13th, 2019

For the price, it was a disappointment. I really splurged to stay here with my family, thinking it would be a 5 star indulgence, and I regret it. The prices just don't match the experience. Pros: Buffet breakfast is really amazing. One of the best I've ever had and I'm not really a buffet kinda gal. They should do a Disney character day though. That would really make it special. And knock off the need for character meet and greets at the parks. The main pool looks great, but we didn't have a chance to go there. Instead, with the 3 kids we went to the Hilton side pool for the slide and lazy river. It felt like a wild spring break and took insanely long to get food service, both to find someone to order from and to wait for the food. They seemed really understaffed. Food: everything we ordered was excellent. Sushi restaurant was great. Bar food and room service. All great. Prices are high but the food is great. I wish the pastry bar had gluten free options. We only did the buffet one day so I didn't really have anything I could order other than fruit for breakfast at the other option. Coffee and espresso drinks were great but they were out of non dairy options for a couple days. Cons: We arrived late 1 am or so, and nobody, and I mean nobody was around to help. I lugged out all our luggage, found a luggage cart. I would expect for these rates for bellhop to be there to welcome and help. Eventually he did show up but it was long overdue. With three young kids half asleep, 3 adults, strollers, it was a ton of stuff. We could have used the help. We were exhausted. Room: Our bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Hairs in the tub and our sink counter had dirty splatters everywhere. I don't expect it to be completely spotless and am not all that freaked out by hair, but this was downright neglectful. We had connecting rooms with a mini suite. The rooms were super dated. It just felt like we were in a regular Hilton. The rooms at the double tree in Denver are equal quality for like 100$ a night. There were some mold spots on our bathroom wallpaper. The showers were ok, and I just found myself wishing they had nicer soaking bathtubs. The beds and linens were comfy. WI-fi - I thought we got free wifi, but our computers were all locked out, and I spent more time that I wish to admit trying to get online to do work. Hilton members apparently get it free, but I forgot my password and then then the password reset screen was locked out. It was super annoying and frustrating. Wifi should just be easy and free, especially for the rates they charge. I did complain about the dirty bathroom and wifi-issues and was comp'd on wifi, given. a special code, and then brought cupcakes. But otherwise it is 20/day for internet. Tissues: They do this weird thing in the bathrooms where they only replenish the tissue boxes with 3 tissues per day. There was also no trashcan in the kitchen area so our food waste and diapers accumulated. Lastly, when we checked out, we were overcharged nearly 1K. This was infuriating to me. I know many people are in a rush when checking out and may not even fully review the charges. When we booked, we prepaid to lock in a low non refundable rate, with a 4th. night free. We then added a 5th night one week prior to coming over the phone and were promised the same low rate. So we should have only had to pay for one night upon checking out... When I reviewed the charges, I saw they charged me for two extra nights, (never offered one free) and we had been charged a much higher, different rate for all 5 nights. It was really awful. So definitely check your room charges thoroughly. Anyway, for these rates, just go to the four seasons. Or pay much less for equal quality elsewhere. I don't like leaving reviews like this, but I wish I knew better what to expect and hope this helps other travelers when planning a dream vacation for their family. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed here with our daughter and family. Such a nice hotel. The staff were all really friendly and efficient, I can’t fault them. From front of house to the bar and restaurants they were all great! Well done guys. Our rooms were very clean and roomy. Would definitely recommend a stay here, an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Disney. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
