Excellent experience

We were cautiously optimistic about our hotel stay during the covid crises. This hotel has good procedures in place for our safety. The lobby is large, open and has seatings for 2 at very well spaced areas. The online checkin was smooth with our room ready and notification sent. Our room on the seventh floor was spacious, very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The linens and bed were fine. Rose, front desk, and Rosa and Carla, housekeeping made the stay pleasant. Not really a "Marriott"...but perfectly fine

How to put this? The Westchester Marriott is the worst "Marriott" in which we've ever stayed. However, it is by far the nicest chain hotel in the area and is arguably the finest overall. As long as you don't expect it to be equivalent to a big city (or even more to the point non-US) "Marriott" you'll do fine. That said, the latest turn of the COVID wheel left us unhappy. Previously, in one of our stays during COVID there was a limited room service menu. Now that is gone and the remaining restaurant (a Ruth's Chris) won't take room charge orders over the phone. So we had to sit at the bar, place our 'to-go' order, wait for it to be prepared, and then return to the safety of our room. I know we should be grateful that there is anywhere on-site to eat during these times...but we would very much prefer a more COVID friendly approach. Allowing call in orders that only require guests to pick up orders at the bar - even if the call-in has to be done on the hotel phone - would be very much appreciated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay

This is a very nice property. My room was very comfortable and clean. Nice sized fridge in room. They have a great gym. The staff was very friendly. There is a steakhouse on property. Not much else around the hotel, so if you don’t have a car your dining options are very limited. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

No Frills

Good: very nice and accommodating hotel staff. Hotel room was clean and tidy each day. Bad: No frills hotel, COVID probably had something to do with it but was kind of frustrated that they had no breakfast available, not even for take out. Someone was throwing a huge party one the 2nd night of our stay (very loud) and I don’t get how a party is allowed but not breakfast at Coopers? Makes no sense. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First time--felt safe!

We stayed here one night on points and were pleased with all of the C-virus precautions. A good sign is how a hotel handles elevator usage. Here it was great! King bed was very nice as was the room. Very pleased they had both the FOX News channel and NFL Network. Sadly there was no breakfast but we did enjoy dinner at the steak house. Pool was closed too. Also it was interesting to see the National Guard virus task force working here. May God bless them all. Be safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
