Second Great Stay
Oct 14th, 2020
This was our second stay at this hotel and things went smoothly right from check in. It was quick and the clerk treated us very well. He gave us an over view of the hotel and facilities and made us feel right at home. We booked a two room suite with a lake view and it was amazing. The rooms were recently renovated and they were clean and quiet. Hollister is about half way between Branson and Big Cedar Lodge so we got the best of both worlds without all the traffic in Branson or the cost of Big Cedar. I would suggest stocking up on groceries in Hollister before checking in. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our accommodations were very nice and renovated. Here’s the bad part. You’re staying on a giant lake and unless you are lucky enough to have a balcony facing the water you never get to see it. Oh you get a glimpse driving in but that’s it. There is no common area for the guest used to sit and enjoy looking at the lake. Not a deck, not a gazebo, not a chair. Don’t stay at a place on a lake to never look at the lake. Even though the room was renovated and was nice I would never stay here again. Another thing I noticed was that the first floor gets to stare at a brick wall because it’s below grade. I would’ve lost my mind if they tried to stick us down there. I’m just wondering who thinks that accommodation is OK for anybody. I hope you’re a sound sleeper because the sound comes right through the walls from the other units and you can smell the food cooking which was really unpleasant first thing in the morning. They could also do a little maintenance and keep the spiders at bay and out of the elevators. They say they’re spending extra time cleaning for Covid but we had an inch of dust on the headboard of our bed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Vacationed for 7 days at Westgate Branson Lakes, rooms were outstanding, have everything you need, just bring food. Pool, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball court. 10 minutes from Branson, Boat parking at the resort, and you can launch your boat at the Marina for free. Staff outstanding. Highly recommend over other area resorts. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
What a great place!

This is a beautiful resort on a beautiful lake. We stayed a week doing an exchange with II. The exchange is for a standard room (evidently that means no view) but II doesn't say that anywhere. I read that I could request a lake view and may get one. I called a week before and a nice lade said she would put it in my file. Checkin is a breeze. You get an email so you can answer a few questions to speed things up. The day we arrived I got a text telling me to let them know when we were about an hour away, which I did. I asked about the room with a view and learned that my exchange did not got to that level. I was pretty bummed. They offered me a chance to call II (closed) or pay extra (no thanks). I got the idea they really were concerned about my happiness. When we got there they offered us a free upgrade. They understood the situation with II (I hope to deal with them next). Check in was done curbside and was very quick. A short visit with the concierge and we were in the room. Very nicely recently remodeled. Very clean. We had neighbors above and below and rarely heard anything. Washer and Dryer in room, plenty of towels, dishes, cooking utensils. Huge HD TVs in living room and bedroom. One night we got texts alerting us that the cable tv was off and they alerted the company. I got one followup text to see if there was anything they could do to make my stay better. I was already amazed, but Linda, David, and someone else at the front desk were so nice and helpful. Stay here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Everything you need to enjoy a family trip while visiting Branson.

Mom, Dad, and three teenage boys spent a little less than a week with some friends who have a time share here. They actually have a two-unit time share that can be broken up and used separately or all at once. The unit we stayed included a bedroom, bathroom, living room with pull-out sofa, dining room area (table and chairs) between the living room and kitchen, and a full kitchen. Our friends had a lot of the same as well as a balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake and a hot tub in their bathroom, etc. If you are renting the small units, know your view will probably be of the parking lot and not the lake. The resort had amenities like two pools - indoor and outdoor. The outdoor pool was lit up at night, which was a nice touch. There was a shuffle board area, basketball court, volleyball court, mini golf, grills, etc. The main building also had rooms with ping pong, board games, books, videos, etc. The resort also had included scheduled activities for families if that is something that interests you. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this resort for an off the beaten path type of place to stay while visiting Branson. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
