The best in New Orleans

Apr 24th, 2019

From the moment we arrived the hotel was a joy. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous. One thing I always like is a nice bar and this hotel does not disappoint! On the Sat night they have music that was great. The hotel is in a great location for The French Quarter. If your going to Orleans stay there! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I want to stay here forever.

Apr 23rd, 2019

We had a fabulously luxurious and romantic stay at this hotel. Didn’t hurt that we were greeted with a room upgrade: our suite was bigger than our first apartment. The hotel is perfectly located - walking distance to Bourbon and Frenchmen but far enough from the noise. Staff is hospitable and warm. Spa is unreal - if you’re expecting, book a prenatal massage ASAP with Eugenie. Pool was a bit warm for our taste - we visited right at a shoulder season, though, so I imagine it’s hard to gauge the right temperature. Bottom line: I’d like to stay here forever and may actually try to recreate a bit of this luxury at home: at checkout I asked for a list of the mattress, sheets, and pillows used. At eight months pregnant, I couldn’t believe how wonderfully I slept. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A solid "4" for the price and much better than being in the Quarter

Apr 22nd, 2019

First of all, you have to consider the Windsor with hotels in it's price range. It's a great value when compared against other luxury hotels and the location is, I think, outstanding. The rooms are showing age a little bit but they are exceptionally well appointed and, as others have noted, the staff really does try to be helpful and goes out of their way to try to assist you. Where it shines is the old school feel and the size of the rooms themselves. We had a great view of the river, loved sitting in the spacious lobby and never tired of the courteous and friendly team members we encountered. Better yet, we never heard drunken revelers, which I understand is quite a problem in the French Quarter. It's not perfect: housekeeping can be a little hit and miss and some of the room appointments are showing wear. But what it does do is provide a luxury hotel feel at a reasonable rate, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly (and would certainly stay again) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful staff fabulous hotel

Apr 20th, 2019

The Windsor Court has one of the most thoughtful and attentive staffs anywhere. The warmth of each and every member made the stay remarkable. All concierge recommendations were phenomenal. From the quick breakfast to the fresh seafood dinner each was perfect for what we wanted and with a special local feel. This hotel is located in a great location for going anywhere. We took the street car and walked nearly anywhere we wanted to go. The beds are so comfortable. We will definitely be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Breakfast too pricey for what you get

Apr 14th, 2019

Friends and I stayed at the hotel for the weekend and really enjoyed the suite. The beds were great but the shower pressure was no good. Also the design of the shower is horrible. It looks good but you get cold while showering. We ate breakfast at the hotel and we will not do that again. You can get better food at better prices elsewhere. Upon our arrival, we went to the bar and bartender was not friendly and acted like we were disturbing him when we asked for drinks. This is not a first impression a hotel should give to guests. The bellman, valets and concierge were nice and helpful. That is a plus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
