Great Experience

Great location with an incredibly helpful staff (esp Vincent) My family stayed for 2 nights and will definitely return. The property was beautiful the room was great the location was a quick easy walk to the French Quarter and whatever we needed they provided quickly. Overall a great experience at a great property in a great city. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First stay at the Windsor Court and it was perfect. Great hotel. Great location. Couldn’t ask for better. I have been coming to New Orleans for years and have finally my go to hotel. The rooms was very comfortable and the hotel is very close to the Quarter. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not the same Windsor Court

If you must, do not stay here until the pandemic is over. Not a hand sanitizer in sight, never saw anyone cleaning the elevator and the pool area was filthy; no staff at pool to monitor number of people, wipe off chairs and tables, etc. Rooms were supposedly renovated but didn't appear that way to me. Loved this hotel and have stayed there for many years but it has gone downhill, although staff is still very friendly and helpful. Perhaps the change is because hotel is now privately held. Very nice hotel with great staff

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was great throughout our experience, especially the folks at the front desk and the valets. The number one frustration I had was that the kitchen was not able to accommodate the allergies of a member of our family. They ended up causing a severe allergic reaction. Every other issue I had was really minor. For example, the elevators were super sketchy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not ready to receive guests?

Jun 14th, 2020

We have been staying at the Windsor Court for decades. It is our favorite hotel in New Orleans. It was our first choice for a anniversary getaway. Of course we were aware of necessary changes to adjust for COVID-19 but the problems we encountered seemed more of a front desk or housekeeping issue. We reserved a deluxe suite and when we checked in to the room were impressed with the fabulous view of the river and the beautiful remodel of the room. However when we settled in we noticed the the toilet seat was up and something floating in the bowl, a room key for an entirely different room left on the table, toiletries missing in the bathroom along with no bath mats for the shower or the usual bathrobes. A call to the front desk replaced the toiletries while we were out to dinner but nothing else. Turn down service has been discontinued due to COVID which is understandable so maybe housekeeping just isn’t checking things? We left by9the next day and didn’t return until 4 pm to find our room had not been serviced . When we called the front desk we were told that they were sorry but because they were short staffed it was too late to clean our room now. Sorry they just missed us. We didn’t have enough towels for the next day. At that point I went down to talk to the front desk in person. I simply explained that if we were not going to receive the amenities we had paid for and get the type of service we had come to expect from the Windsor then I expected a reduction in the room rate.our credit card had already been charged a 1000 for two nights. When we returned from dinner our room had been serviced, the bed made, robes magically appeared along with bath mats, etc. I guess housekeeping hadn’t left? I will give them kudos for realizing they were dealing with a displeased customer because there was a split of champagne left on the table. It went a long way to calming me down. I don’t know what happened with housekeeping but trips downstairs to beg for your room to be serviced isn’t the relaxing anniversary I expected. I hope this was an aberration. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
