Would not Recommend

To start of with on the fourth floor the hall smelled like urine.Second ,there were no towels in our room.Third,the refrigerator door would not close.Fourth ,there was no hot water and staff never told us the hot water heater was broken.We got all this for 200 a night.👺😡 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

moldy room

used to be a nice clean hotel but has declined and the rooms are not clean and there is mold in all the rooms. we used to stay here but I guess the owners don't want to put any money into upkeep now. we checked out and went down the street to H-tom inn. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This place is GROSS!

Room smelled of mold, mold in the shower, hair in the pool and around the pool area, trash everywhere. It was very disappointing. The only plus was the very helpful evening clerk. He was great! The morning clerk was yelling inappropriate words at a coworker then seems to play around the rest of the time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Stay

It was nice/ good price but the cooler had what looked like mold or mildew in it. Otherwise it is right next to the convention center and six flags. Everything is under 10 minutes away. Their breakfast is good with nice long hours too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

BEWARE! This hotel is nasty and has roaches!

My sister and I had recently reserved a two night stay here. Upon arriving, the front desk rep did not provide a welcome and was cold and very unprofessional. We were given keys to Room 222. The room looked dark and the furniture was old. The carpet was dirty and there were marks and dings on the walls. In the bathroom, the tub was dingy, and I could tell that the toilet had not been cleaned in a while. But what gross us out even more was the evidence of a roach infestation all along the corners of the walls and coming from the bathroom vent. I immediately called the front desk and asked for a manager. The front desk manager came to our room and told us that she would take us to another room. She took us to Room 303, which looked slightly cleaner, but after a closer inspection, we noticed again the skuff and ding marks on the walls, the dirty carpet, and uncleaned bathroom. I told the manager that we could not stay there and immediately contacted Booking.com for a refund. Without hesitation, the front desk manager canceled our reservation. I found it odd that the front desk manager was not even surprised by the rooms not being cleaned or roach infested, and she did not try to get us to stay at all. That gave me the impression that customers checking out due to uncleaned, roach infested rooms at the Wingate was a reoccurring complaint. Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC and the city of Arlington need to investigate this property as I am sure that it is violating some type of health code. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
