A great week at Wymara

May 24th, 2019

I was torn between four and five stars for this property. The negatives: Stella restaurant had great food but seemed consistently dead especially compared to other fine hotels where we dined at while in Turks. They also ran out of our favorite appetizer, the Octopus three days into our stay, by day 7 they still didn’t have any. . The beach bar here isn’t as good as some of the other hotels too. The deck at Seven Stars was far nicer. Fisherman’s catch night was a bust. The conch chowder was incredible, but all of the fish that came off the grill was way over cooked. Now for the good. There is a lot. The employees at Wymara were awesome. Dekkel at the front desk was one of the nicest most helpful hotel employees I’ve ever encountered. Monroe and Roosevelt serving drinks at the pool and beach always were there to take care of us and remembered our names every day. Andrew the bartender at the beach bar was always charming and remembered my wife and my drinks when we came out in the morning. Francis at Stella was a great bartender with great recommendations, chit chat, and excellent drinks. The housekeeping staff was probably among the best of any high end resort I’ve ever stayed at. Really, they were incredible. We dined at just about every high end restaurant in Provo most of which are attached to hotels. None of them seemed as clean and elegantly simple as the Wymara. I’m definitely glad we chose the hotel we did. I don’t think there is a better choice in Provo. Fish fry night next door was a blast too. Took a trip to South Caicos for a day that was great as well. Definitely the hotel to stay at in Provo. Our oceanfront terrace studio was perfect for two people. Your comfy king bed overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches and clearest water in the world. If its just two of you, no need to go bigger. I would recommend third floor or higher so you get over the palm trees if you want a view. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just amazing!

May 19th, 2019

I don’t know where to begin. This hotel is amazing. The beach is absolutely perfect. The sand is so soft and the water was so clear and warm. The staff was super friendly. Everyone was willing to help with anything. We spent a week In heaven at this hotel. It is expensive- no doubt- but it was absolutely wonderful and worth every penny. The hotel is secluded and they don’t have much of a gift shop. Our only real “complaints” would be the limited vegetarian options and the lack of a real gift shop. Within a 15 minute walk down the beach you are at the Coral Gardens marine park. This isn’t much of a park but the snorkeling is pretty nice although it is shallow. We felt like we were going to break something. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely hotel on a spectacular turquoise beach!

May 13th, 2019

Our first visit to Turks and Caicos and a lovely one too! Wymara Resort is situated in a beautiful setting, on a white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters. Our room in the West Wing, was well laid out and spacious with a lovely view of the beach to the west. The food and overall service were very good. Enjoyed pilates and yoga classes in the morning and a couples massage, at the Spa. The gift shop on premises could have a better selection, but not bad. Pricey, but warmly recommend. Soooooo, relaxing

May 12th, 2019

This hotel was recommended to us by several friend. The hotel size is just perfect! The room was amazing! We had a teen in toll, she wasn't happy at first with the "lack" of party , however after a day she had settled and enjoyed this low key, relaxing vacation. We'll return for sure. Do try the local restaurants, they are amazing, grocery store just a short ride away. Never had to "reserve" at the crack of dawn a beach or pool place. So refreshing! I'd like to say a big THANK you for the staff for welcoming us, everyone was very friendly and appropriate. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful, luxury hotel on the quiet part of Grace Bay Beach

May 9th, 2019

This was such an incredible place. Hotel size was perfect - just about 90 or so rooms - didn't feel crowded. Room & pool were clean and a good size. Nicely equipped gym. Hotel is right on the beach, located at one "end" of Grace Bay beach which provided privacy and quiet. The beach on this resort is also very "wide", meaning a long stretch of beach from the hotel to the water...you lounge on the beach with many guest without feeling crowded..almost like you are on an private island. Staff and service was superb! They really tried to get to know each guest and always friendly and ready to assist. Special thanks to concierge Tovane for recommendations - she made getting around Turks & Caicos easier; to staff Javon for making sure we were comfortable; and to Breakfast egg & waffle cook - Lucerne (spelling ck) for providing service and food with a smile and laugh every morning during our stay. Definitely recommend the Wymara. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
