Bad

Horrible staff and dirty place unless you like hair in the tub and a shower that doesn’t work, but they’ll just blame you for being stupid! Until maintenance looks stupid trying to fix it. A/c shuts down automatically no microwave or fridge. I had a beautiful view of a rooftop but can’t complain about that. You’ll pay for bad coffee and get treated ok until there’s a problem, then the girl at the desk will treat you like you dumped her in high school and she wants revenge. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simply Awesome!

Hotel was absolutely beautiful! The Staff(Nicole in particular) was awesome and accommodating! Ghost hunting In Gettysburg during the summer should be on everyone’s bucket list! Restaurants and movie theaters were also beautiful and within walking distance! I simply cannot say enough good things! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

just a ok hotel

Sep 16th, 2020

Hotel was freezing cold the whole time we were there. We were at this hotel for two days. When we entered our room the air conditioning was set at 65 degrees which was set way to low for the temperature outside. The room was nice, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. We could hear the air conditioning in the room next door all night as it was probably set at 65 degrees. I called down to the front desk and Sabrina answered the phone and I asked her if anyone was in the that room and she said NO, so I asked her if she could send someone up to turn it off. After two hours, it was still running so I called her again and she told me that she was the only one working at the time and she couldn't leave the front desk. She said she might be able to come up at 11 pm when she got off but she never did. How can you only have one person working at night? The air conditioning in the room next to us ran the whole two days we were there. The hallways and every open area was way too cold for the temperature outside. The atmosphere in the hotel was very cold and impersonal. The price we paid to sleep here was overpriced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Non-Compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols

Sep 16th, 2020

If you are counting on Wyndham following safety measures, stay somewhere else. Check-in person refused to keep mask on. Staff is reduced and it shows--we only had a sheet on the bed (no blanket or comforter). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room not fancy, but immaculately clean!

Sep 6th, 2020

This hotel has the feeling of being very upscale as you walk in! They even have an authentic cannon in their lobby! The place is very clean and takes you back to civil war era decoration. My only complaint is that the room is a little bit of a letdown in comparison to what you seen walking in, but I would definitely stay again if in the area! Very much worth it and made the trip that much more fun! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
