The place was very clean and nice. We got what we expected. I loved the wristband keys. Very handy. The water and beach was very clean. The rooms were spacious. The only negative was that the HOT tub was closed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

All the staff is incredibly courteous and helpful. In particular we would like to thank Jeff for fulfilling our room request. Jeff always goes the extra mile. We would also like to thank Phil, the bellman, who moved all our belongings , including all our food, in such an efficient manner that we didn’t have to do anything. Phil was truly amazing. I would also like to thank the housekeeper who found my Christian Dior and Gucci sunglasses that I left in our unit. Between the helpful staff, the oceanfront location, the large units, the huge pools (Other amenities closed due to Covid) you can not go wrong staying at the Wyndham Ocean Walk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice location, great amenities

We are local and stayed a few days while our hardwood floors were being done. The hotel is fairly dated, they have put lipstick on the pig as best they can but you can still see the older stuff. The room was basic at best but did have a great view. The pool, lazy river and bar were great. Location is right in the middle of everything that is Daytona beach side. Expect the roads and sidewalk to be packed on holiday and high season. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overall the stay was okay.. The room was clean and comfortable. I was misled and am so upset and disappointed. I really wanted to leave and go back home upon arrival but didn't want my sister to forfeit her points. Upon booking we requested an ocean view/oceanfront room... Initially, after it was booked I noticed it was an indoor room so my sister called and told them she wanted ocean view/ocean front. Wyndham canceled the first reservation and made another with a view..... Supposedly!!!!! When I arrived, I was told it was a city view. At this point I'm highly upset because my entire trip is now ruined. My sister has been trying to talk me into buying with Wyndham and I was really considering and purchase this weekend but due to this along with previous reviews from owners, I'll buy with Hilton. Very few wear a mask

Management has signs posted to limit their liability but noone is enforcing mask wearing indoors. Half of people on elevators not wearing them. We would have to wait for an empty one or one where people were masked up. Front desk said it was aware of problem but did nothing about it. Suggest that if you are immune compromised, Cancel.
