Pleasantly Surprised

Nov 21st, 2019

This hotel turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. No frills; however, very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff (especially Celine and Chloe) were so fantastic to us. Recommend if you have an overnight in this little fishing town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice View from Room

Nov 1st, 2019

I stayed here last June in a room with a view of the port for 4 nights. My room was on the top floor and not the middle floor as I was expecting. While the view was nice, I kept bumping my head on the ceiling which extended along the side edges of the window. The bed was comfortable, A/C and Wi-Fi worked well. The chair was too hard to be comfortable and I had to sit on a pillow. Breakfast was okay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel in fantastic location

Overlooking the busy fishing harbour and close to local shops and restaurants. The hotel has simple yet comfortable bedrooms and its own parking. A great hotel to use as a base for the local area and beaches, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful hotel - But maybe not for you!

Oct 30th, 2019

We absolutely loved Port en Bessen - and the Ibis Hotel. But ... Port en Bessen is definitely a busy fishing village and the Ibis Hotel is located right at the bustling, active port. The scallop boats are coming and going at all hours, loading and unloading, trucks are coming and going, crew are busy mending their nets. It's fascinating to watch! And it's easy to enjoy from your Ibis room. Rooms are small, clean, comfortable, and efficient. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Arriving late, we found no restaurants in town open. The hotel's 24 hour food service, although limited, was a lifesaver. We loved the Ibis Hotel and it's port location... But it might not be for you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely hotel in gorgeous fishing village

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, modern spacious room with pod style bathroom - brilliant and roomy. Quiet, awesome pillows, blackout curtains, very clean and well maintained. It was a bit of a pain though having to go up and down 2 separate elevators to carpark/reception/room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
