Laid Back Front Desk

This was a really funny hotel experience for me. I arrived with a number of friends and the front desk just checked my reservation, took a credit card for incidentals and turned their cheek to the number of people I had in the room. I really really appreciated that. Trust is a helpful part of any transaction and the front desk seemed to not be interested in making it more difficult for us to just bed down and call it a night. I would absolutely come back because the location was great and very affordable, walking distance or a short drive to some cheap and tasty bar districts. Thanks Ibis! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Clean hotel, but placed far from alternatives of restaurants or other kind of commerce. This is serious because the restaurante is poor in options, specially when the restaurante is closed and you have very few oprions of snack. The breakfast is really lack of options TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

GDL IBIS Staying

Reserved to use the room by two people, there was only one coffee cup instead of two, the TV remote control was not available, I called front desk who promised to sent it to the room but that never happened. The safety lock of the door did not work at all. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Basic room but friendly staff!

Rooms are basic and no amenities included. I had to buy water at the hotel. Breakfast is good; lots of choices. Staff are very friendly, though. They helped me with directions. Location is good if you are attending a meeting at Guadalajara Expo but not if you’re visiting downtown — quite far from Ibis. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
