Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
    Anaheim, CA
    4.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 4888 reviewsTripAdvisor (4888)
    Free WiFi

As expected, kids are spellbound by the Disney brand enchantments, but adults are also delighted to stay in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa because of its convenience. The resort's design draws on California's natural scenery – the redwood forests, the mountains, the rugged coast – but forgets none of the high-end musts of modern hotels. The rooms (that come in many configurations) can easily fit families, and the hotel provides additional sleeping bags for kids. The themed pools are a great way to enjoy the warm California weather as a clan, while weary parents can kick back in the Mandara Spa or enjoy a glass of wine at Napa Rose after a long day of fun. Families also enjoy the private entrance to certain areas of Disneyland, like Disney's California Adventure park and Downtown Disney District. The room rates, on the other hand, can take their toll on your vacation fun, though members of the Disney Vacation Club can receive discounts on both park admission and hotel rates.

    Disneyland Hotel
    Anaheim, CA
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 3290 reviewsTripAdvisor (3290)
    Free WiFi

The Disneyland Hotel provides all that guests need when they're not touring the Happiest Place on Earth. Kids are big fans of Goofy's Kitchen (where Chef Goofy often make appearances), and adults enjoy the prime cuts at Steakhouse 55. Guests can swim at the Monorail Pool complex or take a complimentary tour through hotel's collection of Disneyland artifacts. Guests say rooms here could use an update, but they also applaud that rooms are spacious for families and feature Disney-inspired decor, flat-screen TVs and kid-friendly amenities such as cribs and wake-up calls from a Disney character. Recent visitors are complimentary of the customer service, which they say is great from start to finish. You'll find the Disneyland Hotel on the western edge of the park near Downtown Disney, and a 20-minute drive from John Wayne International Airport.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County can comfortably suit the needs of a broad range of business and leisure visitors. Anaheim Marriott Hotel
    Anaheim, CA
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 2398 reviewsTripAdvisor (2398)

Adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center, the Anaheim Marriott caters mainly to business clientele. And with 100,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel lures conferences and guests alike. Wireless Internet exists throughout the complex to keep its visitors connected (though you should expect to pay an extra fee for in-room access). This Marriott's proximity to Disneyland draws families, who can also enjoy the hotel's more universal amenities – like the outdoor pool – when they're not hanging with Mickey. The hotel also houses nFuse Restaurant Bar & Lounge as a dining option. Some recent guests have remarked, however, that the guest room decor could use an update. However, members of the Marriott Bonvoy program can earn and redeem points here.

    Anaheim Marriott Suites
    Garden Grove, CA
    3.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 2047 reviewsTripAdvisor (2047)

Travelers who are kids at heart or have young children will appreciate this 371-room Marriott property, which is situated just 5 miles south of Disneyland and 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles (home of Universal Studios Hollywood). But the prime Anaheim location isn't the only reason visitors opt for a stay at the Anaheim Marriott Suites. Guests praise the attentive and helpful staff, delectable breakfast buffet (for a fee) and convenient, affordable shuttle service to and from Disneyland. Visitors staying for business also compliment the property's 10,000 square feet of meeting space and close proximity to the Anaheim Convention Center. If you're looking to relax after a long day of work or play, lay out by the outdoor pool or retreat to your spacious digs. All accommodations include separate sitting areas, minifridges, coffee makers and sleeper sofas. Although some guests grumble about the Wi-Fi fee (which is waived for Marriott Rewards members) and self-parking charge, many agree that the stellar service and ideal location more than justify the extra expenses.
