For travelers who put a premium on luxury, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia delivers. Recent visitors said the staff's attention to detail makes guests feel like royalty. And the 156 rooms and suites aren't too shabby either: Accommodations feature views of the hotel's inner courtyard or the Vancouver cityscape, flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee makers and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are just as impressive with rainforest shower fixtures and heated floors. For extra pampering, treat yourself to a visit at Sense, A Rosewood Spa. When hunger sets in, the swanky Reflections: The Garden Terrace (open during the warmer months), serves cocktails and small plates. Meanwhile, Hawksworth Restaurant features a formal atmosphere and a menu with locally inspired cuisine. But when just drinks will do, kick back at the 1927 Lobby Lounge, which borrows its name from the building's original construction in 1927. You'll find this Rosewood outpost in downtown Vancouver at the corner of Howe and West Georgia streets (around the corner from the Vancouver Art Gallery).

La Grande Residence at The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver
    Vancouver
    4.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 291 reviewsTripAdvisor (291)

As its name suggests, La Grande Residence at The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver is housed within The Sutton Place Hotel, making a convenient choice for travelers who require all the accoutrements of an apartment with the attentive service and amenities of a hotel. Accommodations are outfitted with Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. Recent guests describe the rooms as comfortable, though some bemoan the worn state of the room furnishings. Visitors are more approving of the hotel's location – Yaletown sits less than a mile south of the hotel, while Stanley Park is located just a mile and a half northwest. La Grande Residence's central location is handy come dinnertime: Recent travelers recommend skipping the pricey plates dished up at the on-site Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar in favor of the neighborhood's diverse food scene. When you're ready to relax, make your way back to the hotel for a dip in the indoor pool or a treatment at Vida Spa.

According to recent travelers, the greatest draw of this property is its Coal Harbour location. Situated just west of the Canada Place cruise ship terminal, the hotel is a convenient choice for ship passengers, but the Pinnacle's picturesque waterfront vistas are enjoyed by landlubbers, too. Sneak a peek of the spectacular ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in your room, at the indoor pool or while enjoying a seafood dish at the hotel's p2b Bistro & Bar. Aside from the views, accommodations also come appointed with expansive balconies, free Wi-Fi, pillow-top beds and flat-screen TVs. While most recent guests give the guest rooms and staff rave reviews, some do lament the breakfast selection and suggest asking the knowledgeable concierge for dining recommendations instead. Some reviewers also said the entire hotel could use an update, but concede that the location can't be beat.
