Overview
Launched in 1993 and last renovated in early 2017, Carnival Sensation features "Fun Ship 2.0" amenities like Guy's Burger Joint, the Alchemy Bar and BlueIguana Cantina. The 2,056-passenger ship also offers family activities such as mini-golf, a water park and stage shows. Kids ages 2 to 17 can participate in age-appropriate youth clubs while parents sip cocktails at eight bars and lounges.
When it's time for dinner, guests can pick between the main dining rooms and the Lido buffet. The ship also offers a unique three-course Chef's Table culinary experience (starting at $75 per person), as well as 24-hour room service and a coffee bar. Notably, there are no specialty restaurants in the traditional sense.
As far as cabins go, Sensation's Interior staterooms are the most budget-friendly option, while Balcony, Ocean View and Suite category cabins offer more space. All cabins come equipped with flat-screen TVs.
In 2019-20, Carnival Sensation departs from Miami for sailings in the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
