Disappointed with all the smoking they allowed on the ship. It was not contained to the designated areas at all. In addition they did not follow dress code in the inside bars. People were sitting at the indoor bars with thong bikinis on.

I have been on many cruises. This one was a bit disappointing. Smoking and dress code was not enforced.

Third time on the Liberty

Third time in the ship and I must say the liberty is probably due for some maintenance. This time left a lot to be desired. Leaks, overflowing shower, over zealous steward, and a less than stellar dining experience

Great experience aboard the Carnival Liberty everyone was super friendly we had the best cruise director ever Cookie!!! Only problem was our room steward didn’t clean our room one day.. But all in all I would recommend Carnival Liberty.

I took my children and 2 year old grandson on their 1st cruise. We all had a great time. The food was delicious except for the seafood shack. I got lobster rolls and oysters, there wasn’t enough lobster on the roll. Mongolian Wok, buffet, dining room, deli and pizza were great. And the ice cream was delicious. The ship was clean just a little old. She needs some paint here and there. There was a sewage smell midship on deck 2 most of the time. Luckily our rooms were towards the back. There was 1 waiter during breakfast that was rude but everyone else was very nice and accommodating. My family will definitely be cruising with Carnival again.

Underwhelming

Overall, we were underwhelmed with our experience. The buffets weren't open when we wanted to eat, the entertainment and activities just weren't for us. We felt like the cruise line was just out to get more of our money. The staff was not very helpful when our rivate island day was cancelled and they added Freeport as a stop. We weren't given any information about what was available or where beaches were located. Freeport was a much better experience as far as shopping. The vendors were much more laid back and friendly thn in Nassua.

This is a great first time cruise ship for anyone that's never been on a cruise. Food and drinks were awesome, staff was awesome, shows were great and it was just an awesome time

A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our daughter's high school graduation took place on this cruise(our family's first cruise). My parents also traveled with us and it was supposed to hold life-long memories/moments/photos. Unfortunately, my husband's luggage, with our family's toiletry kit, disappeared at embarkation. For the entire cruise, we didn't look our best, feel our best and spent ENTIRELY too much time in line and on the phone with customer service. The toiletry kit provided for our family-of-4 had only 1 toothbrush and no toothpaste. We had to ask for additional kits. I'm surprised they didn't offer us a complimentary amount of toiletry items from their shops. Instead, we held off buying much thinking our luggage would be found and returned to our room any moment (they offered us that hope). It was not. I am saddened at what should be lifelong photos/memories being filled, instead, with my husband in the same 2 outfits and our family not feeling well groomed. The compensation that was given to us in no way covered the cost of replacing my husband's luggage, our family's toiletry kit and the inconvenience incurred by this very unfortunate loss of luggage.
