Overview

Launched in 2006 and most recently refurbished in 2016, MSC Musica welcomes up to 3,223 guests and 1,014 staff members. The ship features a 1-to-3 crew-to-guest ratio, and some cruisers said they experienced inconsistent service.

Travelers were more pleased with the cabins, which range from 140 to 420 square feet in Interior, Ocean View and Balcony rooms. Those who splurge on Suites receive more square footage and larger balconies. No matter which category, all staterooms are equipped with minibars and TVs.

When it comes to dining, the ship offers four venues. Along with two main restaurants and a buffet-style venue, MSC Musica features a specialty sushi bar (for an extra fee). Onboard bars and lounges range from a cigar bar to a wine bar and beyond. Come nightfall, guests can choose from taking in live shows, dancing in the disco or playing games at the casino. During the day, guests can relax by one of the two pools or indulge in treatments at the spa.

In 2018-19, MSC Musica departs from Venice and Durban, South Africa, for sailings in the Mediterranean and South Africa
