Overview

MSC Seaside, which debuted in December 2017, carries up to 5,179 passengers and 1,413 crew members. The ship's staterooms offer between 151 and 1,022 square feet of indoor and, when applicable, outdoor space. The accommodations come with amenities like LCD TVs, minibars and sitting areas. Additionally, more than 70 percent of rooms include private balconies, and some upgraded suites feature whirlpool tubs or connected cabins designed to accommodate up to 10 people.

Young travelers will find a variety of ways to entertain themselves on board. On top of offering kids and teens clubs, MSC Seaside houses a multistory water park, a bowling alley and two of the longest zip lines at sea. Meanwhile, adults can head to the theater for Broadway-style performances, sip cocktails while listening to comedy acts or live piano music or savor gourmet chocolates at the Venchi Cioccogelateria & Coffee Bar.

For more substantial fare, the ship features nine dining venues, including a steakhouse, a buffet and the seafood-focused Ocean Cay Restaurant. Guests can also sample pan-Asian fare at two venues from award-winning chef Roy Yamaguchi.

In 2018-19, MSC Seaside departs from Miami for sailings around the Caribbean, including ports in George Town, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico.
