Overview

Among the smallest ships in the fleet, MSC Sinfonia received a major refurbishment in 2015 to increase the passenger capacity to 2,679 and add new features like a water spray park and the Lego playroom for kids. The ship features a nearly 1-to-4 crew-to-guest ratio, which past cruisers said made for inconsistent service.

Recent passengers also complained the food quality was hit or miss. When it comes to dining, guests can choose between four restaurants: two main dining rooms, one buffet and an outdoor grill. What the ship may lack in cuisine quality, it makes up for with an abundance of distinct bars and lounges.

As for entertainment, the ship offers nightly performance shows in the theater and table games at the casino. Kids and teens can enjoy age-specific clubs during the day, while parents indulge in treatments at the MSC Aurea Spa.

When it comes to accommodations, staterooms come in four categories: Interior, Ocean View, Balcony and Suite. All are outfitted with TVs, minibars and spacious closets. Those who splurge on suites also receive bathtubs.

In 2018-19, Sinfonia sails throughout the Mediterranean, including ports in Venice, Santorini and Dubrovnik
