Great Itinerary

I was pleased with the cruise itinerary except the last port. It is relaxing and fun. I appreciate all staff work long hours to make the journey wonderful. I plan to cruise with MSC again in 2021 since I already booked all my trips for 2020.

Stunning, Mediterranean Cruise....

Jun 11th, 2019

Think I pretty much summed it up. While not everything was perfect, we had a super fabulous time, and we enjoyed the cruise a great deal. We are talking about repeating again in a year. Going in the beginning of summer before the crazy summer tourist season or 2nd/3rd week of September would be ideal for this cruise. I highly recommend it. I prefer the "Mediterranean" based cruise company vs Royal/Princess/Ncl, just due to the nationalities on board. There was not an over abundance of Americans on board....but we did meet some lovely people from Australia, the UK, and Ireland....We really enjoyed the multi-cultural crew. Just put in to them, what you want to be treated like and they take care of you like gold. I don't think you'll find a better itinerary to visit so many amazing cities.

I very much enjoyed my cruise aboard the Sinfonia. Yes, it is an older ship without all the "bells and whistles", but it is comfortable and well maintained. The crew was very friendly and helpful, and I never found language to be much of a barrier at all. Loved the food, the entertainment, and the excursions/itinerary. We also purchased the Basic drinks package, and found it to be an excellent value. I will definitely cruise with MSC again.

Bad Itenanary

May 22nd, 2019

Itenanary was bad. Time in Santorini too short and 2 days at sea too much. Bathroom and shower too small. How overweight people use shower is impossible.

Went on our first cruise on the MSC Sinfonica. Was the perfect size, not too big not too small! Food was good. Really enjoyed the options in Il Galeone. But, one evening ate in the buffet, was surprised to see the exact same food, but then I suppose there is limited space to prepare different dishes. Staff were generally very good and attentive. The only two exceptions was the receptionist/nurse in the Medical Centre who was rude and abrupt when my partner was ill. That night, I was dining alone, as the other couple at our table did not show up. The adjacent table, set for 12 but only had 6 assigned, asked if I’d like to join. I did. The waiter was not impressed. But, despite those two incidents, I really enjoyed my first cruise. Will definitely have another cruise holiday.

Just back from the MSC Sinfonia and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Entertainment was great, the staff was friendly, helpful and with a smile. The food was good.

Exceptional port experiences and Exceptional Staff

Would highly recommend. PLEASE consider older people like us who would enjoy a ship library that is not in a smokey corner. With the fascinating ports and with clientele somewhat older, an historical library would be appreciated.
