Our 50th Wedding Anniversary would have been perfect if we had gotten the Cabin with an outstanding view that was shown on website & what we had paid for. We decided to pay the extra for a balcony room since it was 28 days long. Total disappointment!

For the most part our cruise was wonderful. Our cabin steward was wonderful and most servers and others were great. Food was great with many choices. However, we chose a balcony room and paid a much higher price for it so we were very disappointed in the obstructed view we received. We could have saved a lot of money with an ocean-view cabin. We are still waiting on a response from Princess which will determine if we go on another Princess Cruise. We have been on many cruises are Platinum with NCL & have never had a balcony with a steel wall railing. So disappointing!

Worn out ship. Great crew, great food. Was an amazing experience all together:) lots of things to do. Shared a balcony with my parents. 4 people and it didn't seem squished at all. love princess cruise line!!

Went on 5 day cruise Los Angeles CA to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. This is a mixed review. It was worth it to purchase both the beverage packages the alcoholic and the soda package. I used the soda package and always ordered the $5.50 non alcoholic drinks. I averaged about 6-8 of those drinks each day. Once in while I had a soda. My wife had the alcohol package and ordered the $12.00 whiskey and averaged 5-9 drinks a day plus soda one in while. We added it all together and saved $250.00. 5 stars for the beverage packages. All the bars we went to they we all very nice only had 2 issues at the bar they were not organized and had no idea who was next and the passengers do not care who is next as long as they get served. Bartenders would get a 5 star. The buffet servers that bring you drinks give them a 1 star. They were doing a great job until we get port once we were at Cabell their service dropped off until the cruise was over very disappointed they were so good the first two days but once we hit Port their service was almost zero. Club class dining was excellent five stars to them they were great very professional quick-service very personable and even when they saw us on the ship they said hello to us. We were on Deck nine dolphin dick room 401 Club class mini Suite it was very nice well-maintained clean and the person handling our room was excellent five stars to our person that held the room. I was very disappointed when we first got there at the cruise Center I purchased Club class mini Suite which includes priority boarding they even give me a little slip that said priority however there was no priority boarding line no priority boarding assistance no one knew what anything was priority I was just treated as a regular room on the ship. The ship is very nice however the outside needs to be painted in many places inside is very elegant sometimes hard to move around the ship

First Cruise w/ Emerald Princess & My Last Cruise w/ Princess

Service was poor almost the entire trip, Vincent and Olga were the only people who provided great service. Food was awful the whole time even got sick from their 4-cheese pizza. Rooms weren't cleaned properly, staff was not friendly. Always had to flag someone down for a simple drink. The last dinner we had on the cruise was great Vincent was helpful/happy and the food was great! Olga was great during our specialty dining unfortunately the food was not.. regretting the $29 per person we paid that night considering most of us didn't even eat it. Did not appreciate how rude guest services was when we had questions about the 5 different holds they placed on my bank account, end result had no explanation, and ironic enough i asked if they would be placing a hold during check in and i was told NO, an awful inconvenient lie. Also has charges on my stateroom account that were not mine, had i not looked into the details i would have paid for them. This cruise nickel and dime you for everything and makes it extremely unenjoyable, would have gladly paid more for my booking to have better service and more inclusive options, first cruise with princess and most likely my entire family of 20 last cruise with them. Not much to do other than go to their casino. One night at dinner (due to a large group, we were split into 3 tables) both the other tables had finished desert and we still had not gotten our appetizers after waiting in line to get in for 30 minutes, and waiting at a table for 2 hours and they did not care to comp us or anything! Had a great time simply because i was surround by my family, not because of my cruise experience.

We just got in from Cabo via the Emerald Princess. We had a wonderful time on the ship. Our steward Marlon took great care of us, all staff were very helpful and happy. The food is good. We ate at the buffet (ok), the pizza was very good, the main dining room was good and the Crown Grille was great. All shows were entertaining and plenty of trivia activities. This is not a party ship, even though it was a quick 5 day Cabo trip, which is why I love Princess. The ship is large enough to not fill crowded but not so large that you get lost. Very relaxing and fun.

Fantastic Getaway

We booked this 5-day 'get-a-away' to celebrate our 38th anniversary. the port was within driving distance, it occurred over my week-long break from school, and just fit all our needs. Also, it was a Princess cruise, which we always cruise on, and would give me a break away from young children, as I am an elementary school teacher. Even though this was over a holiday, we had been on 3 holiday cruises previously, and they basically the same...mostly adults and a few children. Nope. There were a large number of families, with kids, and totally unlike any other Princess cruise we'd been on, and this was our 9th. Happily, the children were very well behaved (for the most part) and the elevator tag got old early on, lol. So for a different cruising experience, with more family and child related activities, and a lot of children everywhere, we still had a great time. The only thing that was really something I would like to see change - and I know it will be for the Emerald's next dry dock - is the absence of hand washing stations. I've really come to like those. The food was good (even if the buffets could have had a wider selection), the service fantastic, and overall I would recommend this ship and destination. I will add that we have been to Cabo many times, so we never even got off the ship. So nothing to report for excursions or even the site.

Nice size cabin. The staff is hit and miss some are friendly some are not. The internet is ok not great. The ship is decorated very nicely for the holidays. Cabo is very pretty. Bed is very comfortable. Food is average. Trying crown grill tonight, looking forward to it.

We just got back and went over Thanksgiving was a great time. Nice ship. Food was good. Rooms were nice size. Lots of closet storage space. Would definitely go again

Ship was dated and in need of refurbishment, food was almost ineddidable, when you went to the service desk with complaints they were of no help. Paid for Share restaurant that was promised to be gourmet and it was anything but. Paid $78.00 for internet that 99 % of the time didn’t work.
