November Mediterranean Cruise Experience

Nov 25th, 2018

Very good itinerary and ports were interesting and varied. Weather in November was unpredictable, but lack of crowds in most major tourist areas more than made up for the spotty rain or scattered showers we encountered. Our guide in Pompeii said we visited on the least crowded day he had ever seen! Same for San Marino (excursion from port of Ravenna). Would highly recommend travelling in off season!

I starved

Oct 16th, 2018

This was my first cruise. I'm 59 and I was among the youngest on board. Not many peers to hang with. The food was horrible. I can't wait to get off so I can eat a good meal. We had to eat in the steakhouse at $60 for both of us to get a decent meal. They say their pizza is award winning (best on a cruise). Trust me....no way. The cheese is bad, bad, bad. I'm from Phila and that's NOT a good pizza. I don't eat a lot of meat. So I ended up having Fettuccini Alfredo almost every night. The only good dish the chef made was his pasta with tomato sauce. My boyfriend is a chef of 40 years and will eat a wide range of foods. He's been on 3 other cruises and thought the food was very dissappointing. Won't sail them again. I starved!!!!!!!!! We met another couple and they were equally frustrated. I'm sure the masses are good with it but I've grown up around quality and have high expectations. It was a waste of money. But the service is impeccable and the staff terrific. Get a better chef. Offer more quality options. And don't call your steak sandwich a Philly. It was not!!!!!!!!!!!

1 cruise (first)

Another fab cruise on this little boutique ship which has been partially refitted since my last trip on her on 3 years ago. Mini suites are large and square in shape rather than long and narrow and food is top notch. Yes I know the shops are limited as are dining and bar options but the trade off is that you get to know and see your fellow shipmates more often which can in my opinion make a cruise far more enjoyable. Likewise you get to know the bar staff and cruise directors a bit better too. 8 months until I sail on Pacific again ????????????????

Had a great 14 night Baltic Cruise September 2018, our balcony room 6019 on deck 6 was great - you were above the Cabaret Lounge so you could hear the music from the shows, this did not bother us as it was all quiet after 2230hrs. We had early dining - the menus, food & service were excellent, we also went to Sabatini’s & The Steak House the service & food was brilliant. The Pacific Singers & Dancers were amazing- all the shows were great I especially loved their new show Bravo. As previous reviews I personally found the onboard activities old fashioned & not for me but a lot of people seem to really enjoy themselves- I was happy relaxing with a magazine. All the ports were great, unfortunately we were unable to make it into Amsterdam due to weather. Enjoyed the small ship but look forward to cruising on a larger ship next time.

Very small ship but that is ok. Entertainment was horrible! Sea days were boring. Nothing to do but old people activities. Reminded me of being at a senior citizen center. Playing a penny whistle, knitting session or going to a leg therapy session doesn’t cut it! Boring!

Great time on a small ship.

Exceeded my expectations. A well oiled machine, the Pacific Princess- all excursions well organized! The Edinburgh Military Tattoo was spectacular! An intimate and cozy ship with Old World charm. Exceptional Staff, 5 star quality, and made you feel like a Queen!

Fantastic cruise to Norway &Iceland aboard the beautiful little Pacific Princess with Captain Spinardi

Aug 8th, 2018

We enjoyed it thoroughly. Being the #1 top cruiser on the ship really made it special. There is not much in Iceland unless one likes to hike and do more physical activities.
