Amazing around the world cruise - 97 days LA to Florida

May 3rd, 2019

We had been on long cruises before and we had visited up to Singapore from LA. The ship stopped in many new locations, such as Steward Island and Raiatea we never visited before. We really enjoyed these places. Madagascar was the best location for our visit. We met many interesting people on the ship and on land. We shall not do a world cruise again but we we met many who had done it four or five times. One woman had done it ten times.

It was our worst ‘vacation’ experience ever !!!

Apr 29th, 2019

The best part of our cruise was when we left the ship in Maui. The crew and management refused to address the fact that we were forced to be in a room that was inferior to what we had paid for !!! If this ship were used to transport troops to war zones — they would complain about these accommodations!!!

Really enjoyed this small ship for our British Isles itinerary. Embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze. Never a line up anywhere. Service from everyone was excellent. Entertainment was lacking but we expected that on such a small ship. Wifi was pretty bad. Beautiful library with a great selection of books. With being such a small ship we rarely used the elevators. As with most others so when you did need them they were quick and efficient. MDR food was good, service excellent. We did try the steak house on our last night and the food was excellent. Buffet was lacking but you didn’t go hungry. We went to afternoon tea one day and we really enjoyed the sandwiches offered. But it was really busy. The ship had a rough night the night before and I think this threw off everyone’s dining schedule so tea time was busy. The staff struggled to keep up but overall it was still great service. The ship does not cater to children at all. I would not recommend it for families with kids for this itinerary with 3 sea days. We had splurged for mini suite and it was quite spacious with plenty of storage. It was myself and my friend so beds were separated. We were worried about them feeling too small but they were probably the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in. Bathroom had plenty of space. Nice sized balcony. This category of room had us sitting in a separate area of the dining room. Each day there was something special on the menu that was prepared by the chef table side. Not a game changer if you are thinking about upgrading. Overall would love to sail this ship again. I would just be sure it was another busy itinerary as sea days could get really boring. Would never want more than one sea day in a row.

Enjoyable Cruise

We throughly enjoyed the small ship experience. We were on deck seven seemed in a perfect spot. Two decks down to the MDR and two decks up to buffet. We enjoyed the staff and you saw the Senior Officers everyday. The food was very good to excellent.

Fantastic

Amazing cruise. The captain and his crew were always out and about and very interactive with us the passengers as was the entertainment staff. We were fortunate and set with a great group at our dinner table and created many lasting bounds and memories. Was probably one of the best cruises if not the best cruise we have been on. Small ship cruising is the way to go and we will be back even if it was to do the exact same cruise.

Relaxing small ship

Dec 27th, 2018

Pacific Princess is a relaxing small ship. What you give up is movies under the stars and evening shows. We loved eating on the open deck behind the buffet.

The voyage resembled a fantasy of high seas travel in the days of yore, which many can only dream of nowadays.

We just completed our third voyage on the Pacific Princess. Almost three months total sailing on this vessel. But this one was different, in that we booked our first full suite after over 600 days of sailing and had Club Class Dining. By far our greatest cruise ever from a cabin and dining standpoint. Other aspects of the cruise were good to very good but the cabin and dining made this an excellent cruise experience overall.

Transatlantic Cruise on Small Ocean Cruise Ship

Dec 25th, 2018

This cruise was a wonderful experience for both my wife and me. We especially enjoy the "days at sea" and the transatlantic aspect included eight consecutive days at sea crossing the Atlantic Ocean. There is nothing like sitting on your balcony and seeing nothing but ocean waters all around you. It gives you a perspective on the world and the universe around you.

Fantastic Mediterranean and Trans-Atlantic cruise

Dec 25th, 2018

Loved the small ship, the Caption and his crew were very visible all through the cruise and had time to talk to each and every one of us. All the ports were great except and well planned.
