Amazing Ship and Crew

Jan 20th, 2020

We think this was probably the very best cruise we have been on, out of about 10 cruises. It was the first 15 days of the 111 day 2020 World Cruise, very nice pace with a few sea days in between ports to totally unwind. Beautiful older elegant smaller ship but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Great time!

Dec 30th, 2019

Thought I ate way too much (food was very good) but must have got enough exercise as I lost 5lbs when I got home. Lots of activities to choose from during at sea days. Staff friendly and easy to approach with concerns. Did need to see ship medical and they were wonderful! (I managed to get bronchitis from all the heavy walking during 2 excursions)

Pacific Princess Rome to FLL

Dec 29th, 2019

Expected slow internet. However they should give truth-in-advertising. $142 for the chance to, perhaps, possibly, maybe connect to internet. Would take that offer. About 5 days without service, with no compensation offered.

Great experience with this small ship, only 600+ passengers. Allows you to meet more passengers and the crew to know you.

Small ship with 750 passengers liked the ambiance but the entertainment venue was rather limited but liked everything else about being on a small ship.

Fantastic itinerary and ship!

Dec 9th, 2019

We had a fantastic time on this cruise both because of the itinerary and because of the fabulous crew on the Pacific Princess. The small ship experience was great, easy to get from one place to another and so many wonderful crew members and friendly passengers.

Small Ship Cruise to Iceland and Norway

Sep 17th, 2019

It is a bit concerning to take a small ship across the North Sea and North Atlantic. We have crushed the route on a big ship, but how would it be on a small ship. The answer is it was great. The small ship allowed us to quickly move around the ship. No long lines and no waiting for elevators. The Pacific Princess ha a very friendly and efficient staff. Our embarkment at Dover went flawlessly. Quick and efficient. We got settled in, explores the ship and were ready to sail before the muster drill. This itinerary was almost perfect. A day at sea to begin with. Stavanger and then another sea day to Iceland. 4 ports around Iceland and then 2 days back to Norway. 4 ports in Norway and then a sea day back to Dover. The sea days allowed us to rest after the great ports. The ship was pleasant, but somewhat outdated. The small size presented problems for the Production Shows. They were well presented, but the venue did not provide good views of the shows. Occasionally, I felt that there wasn't much to do, but that may be ok. I was pleased with the quality of the performers. There were only two singers in the shows, but they were both outstanding. Our cabin was smaller than we were used to and had little storage. The bathroom was about the same size as usual, but was not organized as well as the newer ships. The main dining room only had traditional dining, but that is my preference anyway. The staff was well trained and efficient. I enjoyed the dining experience, but some of my companions felt the menu was too limited. The staff was more than willing to accommodate when requested. The disembarkment at Dover was quick and easy. A most pleasant experience.
