Wonderful memories made!

We were with our friends who cruised before so we had some guidance! We had a wonderful time! Marcel's first cruise and my 4th but first with Royal Caribbean. The ship was huge!

What an amazing week!

As always, we enjoyed this Royal Caribbean cruise. The ship was beautiful and huge - even with 7000+ people aboard, it didn't feel crowded and cramped. The only downside was Labadee. It's just an unpleasant port in this itinerary.

This ship is obviously huge. I love this ship but being so big a few in our group didn’t like that in places you could forget you were on a ship and could feel almost as though you were in a nice mall. I loved Wonderland and we frequented their bar as it was fun and for the most part undiscovered. Most thought it was only for dining. I gave it only 4 stars as they need a way to manage the restaurants for when guests fail to show up when they have reservations. Possibly a small charge for no shows. We tried to get in at times and were told they were booked up but we saw empty tables. This is more an issue with the passengers but hurts the upsale restaurants. 5 stars to the staff as all we encountered were great.

SYMPHONY.

This was our second week of our back to back on symphony we were still trying to experience all of the ship. And do not think at the end we had seen it all. Very large ship with all the bells and whistles ,food was excellent where ever on ship. Staff were fantastic right from cleaners,house keeping and bar staff were amazing,especially the pool bar boys.entertainment was great at all venues. Over all FANTASTIC.

The ship itself is fantastic. Everything brand new and clean. We are back from a week on the symphony (eastern Caribbean) and we are a family of 4 with two small children(2 and 3 y.o). I’m Italian and of course we cook and eat Italian at home and I can understand what is good and what is not when it comes to Italian food. For us it was a big disappointment that the Italian corner in the windjammer was terrible. How can you pretend that a chef from Philippines makes a good pasta? I’ve seen all kind of things just mixed up instead of mixing the right ingredients or suggesting types of different pasta. sauces were disgusting. I’ve been in the main dining room and tried (my mistake) a lasagna that was swimming in oil and garlic (you will never see that in Italy) and at night I didn’t feel well because of it. Kids areas are very nice but only problem is that 3 years old kids and not anymore in diapers can’t go in the splash area with the small slide and are too short to be allowed in the slides for “medium age kids) so there are no slides for their age. Disappointing was the fact that our daughter turned 2 on the last day of cruising but there was no happy birthday from the staff, no surprise, not a balloon, nothing. I expected a little bit of customer service surprising the little guest with something as we are talking about a very small child. Even more disappointing that I told this point to the guest service on the ship and I had been told that I didn’t purchase any birthday package!! We are talking about a 2 years old and not a 40 year old who wants cake and champagne.

I got to know the crew from dining room staff, Cafe Prominade, Art Department, Auqa Team, Playmakers, Regalia Jewelry. It was a truly memorable cruise!

Omg, its all what it is cracked up to be. A great vessel with so much to keep you occupied, I loved my time onboard. My only regret was to have a side by side cruise instead of a back to back one on symphony. Also my first experience of a balcony and that was so much fun.
