Norway is amazingly beautiful. The cruise was good but not excellent.

The ship was nice and the room was quite good. The staff was exceptionally well trained and pleasant in every encounter. My biggest criticism was my perception that the cruise line skimped on the quality of food in the dining rooms. The descriptions of the dishes were elaborate and colorful but that couldn't hide the fact that cheep sea food and meats were offered. The La Terraza restaurant had about nine pasta dishes that were all meatless except one that had pork cheeks. Additionally they had separate vegetarian selections.

Ports of call were great. Service was excellent. Food was ok, was better on prior cruises on spirit and whisper. Tour guides were mediocre Overall , a lovely cruise with interesting port of call

Disappointing apart from excellent veranda suite.

Given what they normally charge I expected a lot.The suite did deliver top quality but that wasn’t very important to me I was more interested in food activities and entertainment .The food wasn’t exceptional for example very little variety of fish mostly tuna squid and lemon sole once they had swordfish.the buffet at breakfast and lunch was dull even the breads seemed to be those bought in rolls that you bake on board or so they tasted.the space on the buffet was very small and limited the variety. The staff seemed to be very varied in their standards few seemed to really know food or wine and some of the men were almost rude. At afternoon tea I had to ask 4 times for more tea. I got the impression of a complacent company failing to keep up to date and of a distinct lack of supervision and innovation. They sent me an email in advance telling me I was going on a different cruise which when the agent asked them they admitted was a mistake they then 2 weeks sent an email asking me to review the cruise I hadn’t been on. 6 stars I don’t think so.

Had a great Time!

This was our second sailing on this ship. High level of service overall. Not completely consistent, however. Ship needs an update from top to bottom! Looks tired and dated. Gym was in terrible shape; equipment not working, vinyl coverings torn, no video or TV working. Poor/limited wifi service offered. Sailed with another couple so the much older population didn't bother us. May sail again after the expansion and update this spring. We'll see what the offers look like and what real updates are done.....

<p>Beautiful ship, wonderful crew, all the tasty wine and Champagne you can drink, great shore excursions, being treated like royalty for seven days - what&#39;s not to like?! </p> <p> </p> <p>This was our second cruise on Silversea and we will never try anyone else ever again - once you have had perfection it&#39;s hard to go back to less.</p>

<p>Always love my days on Silversea. Have almost 500 sailing days with this company and don&#39;t see myself going anywhere else. Service, food and atmosphere were excellent.. Southern route on crossing was terrific - not a white cap all the way across the Atlantic.  Stops in Morocco were good as well as the Canary Islands.  This is preferable over a stop in Madeira or Bermuda. Furnishing, etc. could use a bit of a face lift on the Spirit and disembarkation in Barbados is cumbersome -  too long a wait at the airport.  I would take the same trip again in a heartbeat.<img alt="Love" src="https://cruiseline.com/images/emoticon-9.png" /></p>
