Hotel rooms can be expensive – especially in the summer – and in resort destinations, such as Maui, Hawaii, and Las Vegas, daily resort fees (add-on charges that cover things like access to the pool, beach, fitness center, Wi-Fi and more) are becoming more common. This trend might leave travelers wondering if there are any properties that don't impose extra fees. For this reason, U.S. News scoured the 2016 Best Hotels data to find properties in popular resort destinations that aren't charging resort fees, but are still offering many of the same great perks.
