Membership Levels

Frontier's FRONTIER Miles program offers four levels of membership: basic, Elite 20K, Elite 50K and Elite 100K.

Basic Membership

Benefits include:

  • Ability to earn and use points

By signing up for the FRONTIER Miles program for free on Frontier's website or through a FRONTIER call center, you will automatically become a basic member. You will earn miles based on the airport-to-airport air mileage distance traveled. You can also earn miles when you rent a car from Avis, Budget, National, Alamo and Hertz, book a trip with Super Shuttle, stay at participating hotels and more.

Elite 20K

Benefits include:

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Priority boarding/seating
  • Free cabin upgrades

Once you fly 20,000 qualifying miles or 25 one-way flights with Frontier in one calendar year, you will reach the Elite 20K membership level. This status grants you waived travel and award ticket fees, as well as more spacious seating options available at check-in (when available), a complimentary carry-on bag, an advanced seat assignment and priority boarding. Once you reach this status, you are also eligible to participate in Family Pooling, where up to eight members can pool and share their miles. Additionally, you (or any traveler on your reservation) can use miles to book Last Seat Award tickets, which can be redeemed for the last seat on any flight. You'll need to maintain the minimum number of flight miles or flight segments flown each calendar year to remain an Elite 20K member.

Elite 50K

Benefits Include:

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Priority boarding/seating
  • Free cabin upgrades

After accumulating 50,000 qualifying miles or 50 one-way flight segments in a calendar year, you'll reach Elite 50K status. This status level comes with the same perks as Elite 20K status, plus complimentary family seating. Elite 50K members also get a 50 percent discount on a Discount Den membership (normally $49.99 a year), a subscription that grants travelers access to Frontier's lowest available fares and various promotions. Plus, as an Elite 50K member, you'll earn a 25 percent mileage bonus on eligible Frontier flights. To retain your Elite 50K status, you must requalify annually.

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Free checked bags
  • Priority boarding/seating
  • Free cabin upgrades

You'll qualify for Elite 100K status after flying 100,000 qualifying miles or 100 one-way flights in a calendar year. The highest elite level in the FRONTIER Miles program, Elite 100K comes with all of the benefits of Elite 50K status, plus a free carry-on and checked bag, a seat assignment and priority boarding for the member and up to eight other travelers on the same reservation. Elite 100K members also receive a complimentary Discount Den membership and a 50 percent mileage bonus on Frontier flights.
