  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Priority check-in/out

When you sign up for La Quinta Returns, you will automatically achieve Silver status and will be eligible to receive basic membership benefits, such as express check-in and late checkout (when available). You'll be granted access to the Redeem Away! program as well. As a program member, you can begin collecting La Quinta Returns points that can be redeemed for future hotel stays or converted to frequent flyer points in partnering programs. You will collect 10 base points for every dollar applied to nightly stays at affiliated La Quinta properties.

Gold

Benefits include:

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Free room upgrades
  • Priority check-in/out

After 10 nights or three stays at any La Quinta property within one calendar year, you will be upgraded to Gold status. In addition to the standard perks of Silver membership, Gold members receive two complimentary room upgrade certificates each year and a 20 percent points bonus on top of the base points earned with each stay. To maintain Gold status, you must requalify annually.

Elite

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Free room upgrades
  • Priority check-in/out
  • Free amenities

Once you accrue 25 nights or seven stays within a calendar year, you will achieve Elite status, the highest membership tier within the La Quinta Returns program. As an Elite member, you'll have all the benefits of Silver and Gold status, as well as a 30 percent points bonus on top of the base points collected on hotel stays. You'll also receive guaranteed room availability for bookings made 48 hours in advance, plus complimentary room upgrades (if there's availability when you check in), free bottled water and a snack, fewer blackout dates on free night rewards and access to a dedicated service line for Elite members. To continue to receive these benefits, you must meet minimum tier requirements each year.

  • Free room upgrades
  • Priority check-in/out

All active or veteran members of the military and their spouses qualify for Military status. In addition to receiving automatic Gold status and all the benefits that come with it, Military status includes a 12 percent discount on room rates and a 2,000-point bonus after your first stay.
