Sonesta Travel Pass is divided into three membership tiers: Member, Preferred and Elite.

Member

Benefits include:

You become a basic member as soon as you sign up for Sonesta Travel Pass for free on Sonesta's website. With your membership, you can earn and redeem points at any participating Sonesta property. You will earn 10 points per dollar spent on a qualifying room rate. Standard membership also grants you complimentary upgraded Wi-Fi access (at U.S. properties) or one hour of free internet access per day (at non-U.S. locales), plus express check-in and checkout, 5 percent off of rates at participating hotels worldwide, custom room preferences like bed type and room location (when available), and special assistance from a Sonesta Travel Pass representative. Members also get a $5 food and beverage credit at Sonesta ES Suites properties.

Preferred

After accumulating six qualifying nights with Sonesta in one calendar year, you will receive Preferred status and benefits. In addition to the perks awarded to standard members, you'll have access to early check-in and late checkout (when available), as well as a priority reservations phone line and a guaranteed room type. You also get a $10 food and drink credit at Sonesta ES Suites properties, and a complimentary room upgrade (subject to availability) and 10 percent off of dining and resort amenities at Royal Sonesta and Sonesta Hotels and Resorts outposts. To maintain your membership, you must requalify annually.

Elite

Benefits include:

Stay 12 or more nights per year and you will achieve Elite status, the highest tier in the Sonesta Travel Pass program. As an Elite member, you will receive all of the perks given to Preferred members. Additionally, you'll enjoy a $15 food and beverage credit at Sonesta ES Suites properties, as well as extra Royal Sonesta and Sonesta Hotels and Resorts perks, such as a welcome amenity, a free nonalcoholic beverage, 50 percent off of suite upgrades requested at check-in (when available), and complimentary club lounge access or daily continental breakfast. Keeping your Elite membership requires meeting minimum qualifying night requirements each year.

There are more than 5,500 hotels participating in the program, with properties throughout the United States, Asia, Europe, Australia, Mexico, Central and South America, Canada and the Caribbean. Choice Privileges members can earn points that can be used toward free stays at Choice Hotels brands like Cambria hotels & suites, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites and Econo Lodge, among others. You can also cash in your rewards at  participating Preferred Hotels & Resorts properties. If you have the Choice Privileges Visa Signature credit card, you can earn Choice Privileges points for every dollar spent on hotel stays and everyday purchases.

Best Western Rewards

Best Western Rewards ...

The Best Western Rewards program is geared toward budget-minded business and family travelers. Best Western Rewards members can earn and redeem points at 4,200 Best Western hotels in 100-plus countries, including the United States and Canada. Members can also earn points by using Best Western partner services (which range from car rentals to flower delivery) and by making everyday purchases using a Best Western Rewards MasterCard or by converting Diners Club Rewards to Best Western Rewards points. These points can be put toward future stays at Best Western hotels. As of June 2018, members can also redeem points for members-only experiences (such as a walking tour of Quebec and an aerial tour of the Grand Canyon) through the Experiences by Best Western Rewards program. And because Best Western is affiliated with airlines like Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, members can redeem points for miles.
