Sonesta Travel Pass caters to travelers who are looking for a rewards program that offers a straightforward way to earn and redeem points, as well as perks exclusively for members. Sonesta Travel Pass members can accrue and use points at 74 participating locations in the United States, South America and St. Maarten. What's more, members with a Sonesta World Mastercard credit card from Bank of America can earn additional points for charges made at Sonesta properties and everyday purchases (including flights, car rentals and dining). Sonesta also offers perks like members-only room rates, express check-in and checkout, complimentary upgraded Wi-Fi access, customized room preferences and more. Members who rack up enough nights will be upgraded to Preferred or Elite membership, affording more benefits and services.

Sonesta Travel Pass members can earn and redeem points at 74 participating Sonesta properties worldwide. The majority of Sonesta's properties are located in the U.S., with hotels primarily situated along the West Coast and East Coast, and in the South and Midwest. There are also Sonesta hotels and resorts on St. Maarten and in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. If you hold a Sonesta World Mastercard credit card, you can earn additional points on purchases you make using the card. To earn a free night, you must accrue at least 15,000 points. However, the minimum amount of points needed for a free night varies by hotel.

Sonesta Travel Pass is divided into three membership tiers: Member, Preferred and Elite.
The Fine Print
- Sonesta Travel Pass points expire after 36 months of account inactivity.
- Qualified stay credits will be added to your account within a week of your checkout date.
- Members cannot earn points on free nights, wholesale rates, group rates or bookings made through third-party websites and tour operators.
- You can transfer your free night awards to immediate family members: a spouse, parent, child or sibling.
- Perks and services that are afforded to members may vary by property, regardless of membership status.
