The majority of Sonesta's properties are located in the U.S., with hotels primarily situated along the West Coast and East Coast, and in the South and Midwest. There are also Sonesta hotels and resorts on St. Maarten and in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. If you hold a Sonesta World Mastercard credit card, you can earn additional points on purchases you make using the card. To earn a free night, you must accrue at least 15,000 points. However, the minimum amount of points needed for a free night varies by hotel.

The Fine Print
- Sonesta Travel Pass points expire after 36 months of account inactivity.
- Qualified stay credits will be added to your account within a week of your checkout date.
- Members cannot earn points on free nights, wholesale rates, group rates or bookings made through third-party websites and tour operators.
- You can transfer your free night awards to immediate family members: a spouse, parent, child or sibling.
