Membership Levels

The World of Hyatt program has four levels of membership: Member, Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist. The more often you stay with Hyatt, the quicker you'll climb the membership ladder. All membership levels allow you to redeem points for a free night in any available qualifying room.

Member

  • Ability to earn and use points
  • Free nights
  • Free amenities
  • Member discounts

When you sign up for the World of Hyatt program, you are automatically granted Member status. Registration is free. Members receive five base points for every eligible dollar spent at participating Hyatt, MGM Resorts and Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties. Basic membership also comes with free Sapphire status in the M life Rewards program, waived resort fees on free night awards, complimentary standard internet access, access to a members-only reservation line, free breakfast at select Hyatt Place hotels and discounted room rates. Plus, you'll receive complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi access, as well as early check-in, late checkout and one category room upgrade (subject to availability) during stays at participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World outposts. And if you stay at five different Hyatt brands within one calendar year, you will earn a free night award at a Hyatt, MGM Resorts or Small Luxury Hotels of the World property (category restrictions apply). You can redeem your points for free nights, room upgrades, FIND experiences, meals and Exhale sessions at participating Hyatt properties. Points can also be cashed in for free nights at select MGM Resorts and Small Luxury Hotels of the World outposts.
